Personalized Learning
I agree with Khan’s (from KhanAcademy) vision of personalized learning, which is that student learning should be individual and self-paced and that teachers should guide and mentor their students through their individualized learning. I think that students will enjoy school more because they won’t be overwhelmed to “catch up” with their peers in the class, or they can move ahead faster and pursue their interests. I think it helps students truly take time to understand what they are learning in school rather than to just pass a test. Personalized learning also provides students with more opportunities to discover what they love and what they are passionate about to spend time on those subjects as well. I think it is important for students to discover early on the subjects and skills they are passionate about.

Google Classroom
I enjoyed learning about the Google Classroom resource and how to use it. It is a great way to post assignments for your class in a clear and organized way that it is easy to navigate. I love how it is so easy to organize your content. Google has also provided many tools with easy access to make designing your classroom easy. I appreciate the simplicity of Google Classroom, however, I wish that Google could have options for more advanced customizations for those who would like it. I wish you could customize the layout and colors for more things just to make it more fun and vibrant for the students. I do think that Google Classroom is a great tool that teachers should take advantage of during this time of online learning.
